What Ego will Cost you

Sometimes, things are not just always as it seems. We often trample on the integrity of people putting ours above and displacing theirs. Consequently, always having the notion that we are the "ever right" and others "ever wrong" but events and time have proved negative to those sumptuous philosophies thus, the overlying hitch had been unveiled to be something not outside but from within and is found to be our much dear beloved "EGO"

The ego in us is that psychic within, that subjects our conscious mind to a near blind sensation to regarding flaws and also in accepting our mistakes even while feeling remorseful. Now you might be tempted to accept the fact to your mum that you messed up the toilet and forgot to flush, along the line you ended up lying that it must have been your younger siblings. Technically, you could be right because kids are more careless so it won't be so hard to easily give into your "cock and bull " story which the reputation of others is now staked then yours obviously at the top and on a safer side.

Not withstanding, it's been said that "thou shall not despise the days of little beginning" by implication denoting the impending doom that will be coming on those who always seek out to lie because, they value their reputation more than their character..ones ego can ruin him completely because no longer are you been sensitive to identifying your weak spots but you start seeing yourself as god with self exaltation coming in alive. Your ego becomes robust and the most treasure, you could kill or do anything just to protect it from being bruised or foot matted by other persons.

To keep you from being derange to the sane person that you are is not to simply feed this ego by not shutting out corrections instead, starve it till you become successful by accepting that you have failed and want to get better. 

  Today as a CEO, Manager, an entrepreneur or any position holder, your goal is to move your organisation to their promise land which requires a collective effort of your staffs or your subordinates. Succeeding requires humility, simply because you are the boss doesn't mean your ideas or opinions are always right. They are certain point in time when you have to accept your failure and weaknesses which help you excel and do better.

  It is important to note that no one is an island of knowledge, we all have our moment of wrongs and then we must be able to accept them to move forward. Insisting on your ego that you are never wrong and your strategy is always right is a fallacy and illusion that will only lead to one conclusion, which is destruction.

  You want to know what Ego will cause you? Well, it will cause you Business or Academic Failure. In fact, Ego will cost you your position, aspirations and dreams which I think you don't want to give up.

 Conclusively, I so much believe that our world will be a better place if we swallow our pride and let go off with status, class, race, religion etc. The choice is ours to make if we really want to make a difference in our time that will be worth- while, it requires that's eventually one thing which is putting your ego on check.
